Location

     Europa is the new earth. Studies show that it may have a ocean underground. If this is the case, we will drill underneath the planet to get water to drink, bathe in, etc. Europa has twice as much water as Earth.  Europa might be letting out plumes of water as well.  We will need to build a dome made out of bulletproof glass because of the low temperatures at minus 250 degrees and lack of oxygen. We decided on glass because we still wanted to be able to grow plants on there. We want this to feel close to home. Europa also has a layer of oxygen as so we will have plenty of it as we are also bringing more.

      Europa was discovered on January 8, 1610 by Galileo Galilei. This moon have been estimated to be 4.5 billion years old.  This was the first time a moon was discovered orbiting another planet besides Earth.  The icy surface is as hard as granite, this make Europa one of the most reflective in the solar system. We can use the granite for our homes and protection.  Europa is slightly smaller than Earth's moon and is 485 million miles away from the sun.  The brown lines from Europa may be salt from the underground sea that we can use for our food, farming, etc. Europa is a inhabitable moon, some scientist believe that vents in the moon cause thermal protection for humans.  It's you that can make this possible.  This is our new home.
